This text field records the name of the FSM task that most recently completed on the port-discovery object that runs the neighbor-discovery process for a fabric-interconnect port before the current one started. An administrator reconstructing what happened before a failure uses fsmPrev together with the current FSM status to see the sequence of workflow steps this PortDiscover instance actually went through. For example, if the current FSM has failed, fsmPrev shows the operator which earlier stage last succeeded, narrowing down where in the process things went wrong.
