This gauge gives the sequence identifier assigned to one queued unit of work belonging to a physical port's FSM workflow within its parent FSM workflow's queue of tasks. An administrator reconstructing the order tasks were meant to run in sorts PhysFsmTask instances by seqId rather than by their arrival order in a query result. For example, if the PhysFsmTask instance with seqId 2 never completes, the operator knows every task queued after it in that workflow is also stalled waiting on it.
