Access: read-only

Description: Cisco UCS sw:NetflowMonitorRef:keyType managed object property

What is cucsSwNetflowMonitorRefKeyType?

This value indicates which flow-key scheme (for example IPv4, IPv6, or Layer 2 keys) the link that attaches a NetFlow flow monitor to the specific traffic source (such as a vNIC or uplink port) it is set to watch is using to distinguish one traffic flow from another. An administrator needs to know this keyType before interpreting exported NetFlow records, because the fields that identify a unique flow — and therefore how flows get counted and aggregated — differ depending on which key type is active. For example, if keyType on this NetflowMonitorRef is set to an IPv4 scheme, exported records will group traffic by IPv4 source/destination pairs rather than by MAC address, changing how an analyst reads the resulting flow report.
