Access: read-only

Description: Cisco UCS sw:NetflowMonitorRef:direction managed object property

What is cucsSwNetflowMonitorRefDirection?

This value records the fabric direction (such as ingress or egress) of the traffic flow that this NetflowMonitorRef instance is set to observe. An administrator checking why exported NetFlow records only ever show traffic in one direction would look at this direction setting on the reference, since it determines which side of the link's traffic actually gets sampled. For example, a reference configured for one direction only would never report a spike in the opposite direction even if the underlying port is heavily loaded that way, so an operator would adjust this setting to get full visibility.
