What is cucsSwFcoeEstcEpPeerState?
This OID, typed as CucsSwPeerStatus, reports the status of the link to the peer device connected to that FCoE storage uplink. An admin monitoring for connectivity problems watches this value directly, since it reflects whether the far end of the link is actually up and correctly paired, not just whether the local port is enabled. A FcoeEstcEp instance whose local admin state is enabled but whose peer state shows down or mismatched points the admin toward a problem on the far end of the cable rather than local configuration.
