This OID returns the Distinguished Name (DN) of an FC "established" endpoint — one FC-capable interface (uplink, FEX port, or similar) that UCSM has discovered and is tracking on the SAN fabric, expressed as a CucsManagedObjectDn — the full slash-delimited path UCSM uses to address that one exact instance in its management-information tree. Because a UCS domain can contain many FcEstcEp instances at once (one per chassis, blade, or fabric leg), the DN is what lets a monitoring station tell this particular FcEstcEp row apart from every other one it polls. For example, a monitoring tool watching several fabric interconnects would use this DN to confirm that a given SNMP row belongs to the FcEstcEp instance under, say, fabric interconnect A rather than fabric interconnect B.
