What is cucsSwEthTargetEpTransport?

cucsSwEthTargetEpTransport (syntax CucsSwEthTargetEpTransport) records the transport mechanism (for instance Ethernet versus DCE/FCoE-style framing) that this Ethernet target endpoint uses to carry its traffic. Knowing the transport lets an admin confirm this Ethernet target endpoint was provisioned with the framing the rest of the fabric expects, since a mismatched transport setting is a common cause of a link staying down. For example, if uplinks configured for classic Ethernet unexpectedly show a different transport value here, that flags a misconfiguration worth investigating before it causes traffic drops.

Examples

Walk all instances (SNMPv2c):

snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.9.9.719.1.46.16.1.20
snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> CISCO-UNIFIED-COMPUTING-SW-MIB::cucsSwEthTargetEpTransport

Get a specific instance (index 1):

snmpget -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.9.9.719.1.46.16.1.20.1
snmpget -v2c -c public <target> CISCO-UNIFIED-COMPUTING-SW-MIB::cucsSwEthTargetEpTransport.1

SNMPv3 example:

snmpget -v3 -l authPriv -u snmpv3-user -a SHA -A "AuthPassword1" -x AES -X "PrivPassword1" <target> cucsSwEthTargetEpTransport.1
