What is cucsSwEthLanBorderDn?

cucsSwEthLanBorderDn carries the Distinguished Name (DN) of the LAN border domain on a Cisco UCS fabric interconnect, the object that groups its northbound Ethernet uplinks toward the customer network (a cucsSwEthLanBorder row) -- the full hierarchical path UCS Manager uses to address that one instance. Because UCS Manager can have many objects of this class across chassis, fabric interconnects, and switch sides, the DN is what lets a script or admin match the LAN border domain in an SNMP walk back to the exact object shown in the UCS Manager equipment tree. For example, an admin correlating an alert on the LAN border domain would read this CucsManagedObjectDn-typed DN column first to know precisely which instance the rest of the row's fields (state, counters, peer info) describe.

Examples

Walk all instances (SNMPv2c):

snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.9.9.719.1.46.7.1.2
snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> CISCO-UNIFIED-COMPUTING-SW-MIB::cucsSwEthLanBorderDn

Get a specific instance (index 1):

snmpget -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.9.9.719.1.46.7.1.2.1
snmpget -v2c -c public <target> CISCO-UNIFIED-COMPUTING-SW-MIB::cucsSwEthLanBorderDn.1
