An admin can read this value to see, without re-checking every raw counter, whether the interval represented by this switch's environmental-history sample tripped a minor, major, or critical threshold that UCS Manager was told to watch. For example, if this bitmask shows the upper-critical threshold set for that interval, it tells the admin the switch briefly ran a monitored value past the configured alarm level during that collection window.
