Module: CISCO-UNIFIED-COMPUTING-STORAGE-MIB

OID (symbolic): CISCO-UNIFIED-COMPUTING-STORAGE-MIB::cucsStorageEnclosureLocalDiskConfigDeviceType

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.9.9.719.1.45.111.1.6

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: CucsStorageTechnology

Access: read-only

Description: Cisco UCS storage:EnclosureLocalDiskConfig:deviceType managed object property

What is cucsStorageEnclosureLocalDiskConfigDeviceType?

This OID reports deviceType for the EnclosureLocalDiskConfig object, a CucsStorageTechnology value identifying the storage technology (such as HDD or SSD) of this local disk configuration within the enclosure. Admins use this to confirm the actual drive technology matches what a workload or RAID policy expects. For example, deviceType reporting HDD when an all-flash configuration was expected reveals the wrong drive type was installed in that enclosure slot.
