Access: read-only

Description: Cisco UCS sol:If:policyOwner managed object property

What is cucsSolIfPolicyOwner?

This is the policyOwner property of a SOL interface object, the live Serial-over-LAN virtual serial interface running on one specific server, the actual endpoint an admin connects to for console access, indicating whether the object's policy is controlled locally or by a higher-level UCS Central/global policy resolution. An admin deciding whether they can safely edit a SOL interface's settings locally checks this field first, since a globally-owned policy will simply be overwritten on the next resolution cycle. For example, if policyOwner on a given SOL interface shows it is owned by a policy source outside the local domain, an admin knows to make the change there instead of on this instance directly.
