What is cucsPolicyPolicyScopeContGenNum?
This OID is a Gauge32 generation number that policy-scope container increments each time its underlying policy scope is re-resolved. An admin compares this generation number across polls to detect that a policy scope was recalculated, even when the resulting settings did not visibly change. For example, cucsPolicyPolicyScopeContGenNum incrementing unexpectedly can alert an admin that something triggered a full policy re-resolution when none was expected.
