Monitoring software combines this Rn with the parent path to reconstruct the object's full DN, which matters when several policy endpoint instances exist side by side under the same UCS container. For example, when cucsPolicyPolicyEpRn returns a short token such as "policy-ep", that token is concatenated onto the parent's DN to form the complete address used elsewhere in the MIB for this policy endpoint instance.
