This OID holds the Relative Name (Rn) of the ID-resolution sub-policy that decides how identifiers (e.g. UUIDs, MACs, WWNs) are assigned — the single naming component that, appended to its parent's DN, distinguishes this ID-resolution policy instance from its sibling instances under the same parent. Monitoring software combines this Rn with the parent path to reconstruct the object's full DN, which matters when several ID-resolution policy instances exist side by side under the same UCS container. For example, when cucsPolicyIdResolvePolicyRn returns a short token such as "id-resolve-policy", that token is concatenated onto the parent's DN to form the complete address used elsewhere in the MIB for this ID-resolution policy instance.
