What is cucsPolicyConfigBackupDn?

This is the Distinguished Name (DN) of the configuration-backup policy control object for the UCS domain, the full slash-delimited path UCS Manager assigns so that one specific instance can be addressed uniquely within its management tree. An admin relies on this DN to tell apart one ConfigBackup instance from every sibling instance sharing the same class, because its source field shows whether backup scheduling is being driven locally or by an external policy source. For a domain whose nightly config backup schedule is managed centrally rather than per-domain, this DN is what an SNMP-based inventory tool would follow to walk straight to that one ConfigBackup instance's other properties instead of guessing which same-named object in the tree it came from.

Examples

Walk all instances (SNMPv2c):

snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.9.9.719.1.69.2.1.2
snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> CISCO-UNIFIED-COMPUTING-POLICY-MIB::cucsPolicyConfigBackupDn

Get a specific instance (index 1):

snmpget -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.9.9.719.1.69.2.1.2.1
snmpget -v2c -c public <target> CISCO-UNIFIED-COMPUTING-POLICY-MIB::cucsPolicyConfigBackupDn.1
