Description: Cisco UCS pki:EpFsm:dn managed object property

What is cucsPkiEpFsmDn?

This is the Distinguished Name (DN) of one finite-state-machine (FSM) run recorded against the PKI endpoint, the full slash-delimited path UCS Manager assigns so that one specific instance can be addressed uniquely within its management tree. An admin relies on this DN to tell apart one EpFsm instance from every sibling instance sharing the same class, because it is the fuller record of a single certificate-related FSM execution, beyond the flattened current-state fields on the endpoint itself. For the FSM instance UCS Manager created when a keyring regeneration was kicked off, this DN is what an SNMP-based inventory tool would follow to walk straight to that one EpFsm instance's other properties instead of guessing which same-named object in the tree it came from.

Examples

Walk all instances (SNMPv2c):

snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.9.9.719.1.37.6.1.2
snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> CISCO-UNIFIED-COMPUTING-PKI-MIB::cucsPkiEpFsmDn

Get a specific instance (index 1):

snmpget -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.9.9.719.1.37.6.1.2.1
snmpget -v2c -c public <target> CISCO-UNIFIED-COMPUTING-PKI-MIB::cucsPkiEpFsmDn.1

SNMPv3 example:

snmpget -v3 -l authPriv -u snmpv3-user -a SHA -A "AuthPassword1" -x AES -X "PrivPassword1" <target> cucsPkiEpFsmDn.1
