This is the Distinguished Name (Dn) of an EthIntf object -- the full hierarchical path UCS Manager assigns to uniquely address a physical Ethernet interface on a UCS host's OS (a member link of a bond, or a standalone NIC) inside the management information tree. Because a UCS domain can contain many EthIntf instances at once, the Dn is what lets an admin or an alarm/event message point to exactly one of them rather than the class in general. For example, seeing a specific cucsOsEthIntfDn value in a fault or a polled table lets an admin jump straight to the underlying EthIntf instance that raised the issue, instead of having to search the whole tree for it.
