Module: CISCO-UNIFIED-COMPUTING-NETWORK-MIB

OID (symbolic): CISCO-UNIFIED-COMPUTING-NETWORK-MIB::cucsNetworkLanNeighborEntryDeviceId

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.9.9.719.1.32.4.1.5

What is cucsNetworkLanNeighborEntryDeviceId?

This OID reports, as an SnmpAdminString, the CDP device identifier of the neighbor device discovered on this Fabric Interconnect port. An admin uses this device ID to know exactly which upstream switch or router a given Fabric Interconnect uplink port physically connects to. For example, when tracing a network path during an outage, an admin reads this deviceId to confirm an uplink port is still connected to the expected core switch rather than something unexpected.

Examples

snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> CISCO-UNIFIED-COMPUTING-NETWORK-MIB::cucsNetworkLanNeighborEntryDeviceId

Get a specific instance (index 1):

snmpget -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.9.9.719.1.32.4.1.5.1
snmpget -v2c -c public <target> CISCO-UNIFIED-COMPUTING-NETWORK-MIB::cucsNetworkLanNeighborEntryDeviceId.1

SNMPv3 example:

snmpget -v3 -l authPriv -u snmpv3-user -a SHA -A "AuthPassword1" -x AES -X "PrivPassword1" <target> cucsNetworkLanNeighborEntryDeviceId.1
