This reports the overall lifecycle status of the IfFsm workflow as a whole (values such as not-yet-started, in-progress, throttled, or completed), derived from whichever stage is currently active. For a physical or logical management network interface (for example mgmt0 on a fabric interconnect, a CIMC, or an I/O module), this is the single field an automated poller can check to decide whether it is safe to issue another change against the same object, or whether bringing that management interface up or pushing a new IP/VLAN configuration down to it is still in flight. A healthy completed job reports a status equivalent to 'completed', while a stuck one might sit at 'inProgress' far longer than expected.
