What is cucsMgmtControllerFsmStageRetry?
This Gauge32 counts how many times UCS Manager has automatically retried this specific stage of the ControllerFsmStage workflow after a transient failure. For the management controller (the CIMC on a blade or rack server, or the CMC on a chassis I/O module) that owns this FSM record, a nonzero and climbing retry count is an early warning that a controller-level lifecycle job such as a firmware activation, a hard reset, or a decommission/recommission cycle is having intermittent trouble at this exact step, well before the stage is marked as finally failed. A value of 2 would mean this stage has already been retried twice.
