This enumerated field identifies the source/kind of a management-plane connectivity link inside the UCS domain (for example between the two fabric interconnects, or to a CIMC/CMC endpoint), i.e. what category of endpoint or peer this connection represents. An admin uses this to tell apart, in a list of Connection rows for a UCS domain, which entries represent the fabric-interconnect-to-fabric-interconnect cluster link versus which represent management links out to individual server CIMCs or chassis CMCs. Example values distinguish a peer fabric-interconnect connection from a connection to a discovered CIMC/CMC endpoint.
