Description: Cisco UCS mgmt:Backup:preservePooledValues managed object property

What is cucsMgmtBackupPreservePooledValues?

This TruthValue flag controls whether a single, one-time backup job that an admin (or a BackupPolicy) has queued against a UCS domain preserves the exact values (like specific WWPNs or MAC addresses) that were dynamically assigned out of an identity pool at the time of the backup, rather than just recording the pool reference itself. An admin restoring this backup onto the same hardware later cares a great deal about this setting: with it true, restored service profiles keep the same pooled identities (MACs/WWPNs/UUIDs) they had before, avoiding surprise re-addressing of servers and SAN storage. Set to true before a disaster-recovery-style full-state backup so that, if it's ever restored, blade servers come back up with the identical MAC and WWPN addresses SAN zoning and switch configs already expect.
