Access: read-only

Description: Cisco UCS mgmt:BackupPolicyConfig:autoDelete managed object property

What is cucsMgmtBackupPolicyConfigAutoDelete?

This TruthValue flag controls whether the trigger/scheduling record that actually fires a BackupPolicy and governs retention of its output files automatically deletes the oldest backup archives on the remote server once the MaxFiles limit configured on the associated BackupPolicy is exceeded. An admin who wants unattended backups to run indefinitely without manually tending to remote disk space sets this to true; leaving it false means old archives just keep accumulating until someone (or something else) cleans them up. With this set to true and MaxFiles set to 10, the eleventh weekly archive being written causes the oldest of the previous ten to be removed automatically.
