The hostName is the DNS name or address of the license server this source points to, relevant when UCS is configured to use an external vendor license daemon rather than files uploaded directly to the switch. A value like 'license-server.corp.example.com' would tell an admin exactly which external server UCS Manager reaches out to for this license source.
