The type classifies what kind of license this file entry represents using the CucsLicenseType enumeration (e.g. permanent versus evaluation/grace), which changes how UCS Manager treats its expiration. An evaluation-type file would be expected to have a near-term exp date and a grace-period countdown, unlike a permanent-type file.
