Module: CISCO-UNIFIED-COMPUTING-INITIATOR-MIB

OID (symbolic): CISCO-UNIFIED-COMPUTING-INITIATOR-MIB::cucsInitiatorUnitEpLc

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.9.9.719.1.65.9.1.9

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: CucsFsmLifecycle

Access: read-only

Description: Cisco UCS initiator:UnitEp:lc managed object property

What is cucsInitiatorUnitEpLc?

This is the lc (lifecycle) state of this UnitEp (a storage unit (path) endpoint representing one physical connection/path between a server's initiator and a storage array, such as one leg of a redundant boot path), UCS Manager's own bookkeeping flag for whether the underlying configuration has been fully applied, is still being provisioned, or is in the process of being removed. An admin who deletes or reconfigures this entry and then sees this field stuck on a transitional value (rather than settling to a stable one) knows the change hasn't actually finished propagating to the hardware yet. For a healthy, fully-applied entry this typically reads 'allocated' (using CucsFsmLifecycle's terms) rather than a pending or removing state.
