Module: CISCO-UNIFIED-COMPUTING-FIRMWARE-MIB
OID (symbolic): CISCO-UNIFIED-COMPUTING-FIRMWARE-MIB::cucsFirmwareDriveSecurityConstraintCheckRunningVer
OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.9.9.719.1.22.85.1.4
Node type: OBJECT-TYPE
Type: TruthValue
Access: read-only
Description: Cisco UCS firmware:DriveSecurityConstraint:checkRunningVer managed object property
What is cucsFirmwareDriveSecurityConstraintCheckRunningVer?
This is a true/false flag indicating whether UCS Manager should check the currently running BIOS/CIMC firmware version against this constraint's minimum requirements before allowing drive security operations. When set to true, an admin attempting to enable self-encrypting-drive security on a server that is still running older firmware than this constraint allows will be blocked, rather than being allowed to proceed and risk an unsupported configuration. If this is true and the server's running BIOS predates the minBiosVersion value in this same record, UCS Manager will surface a compatibility warning rather than let the drive security feature be turned on.
