Description: Cisco UCS fabric:VnetEpSyncEp:genNumSync managed object property
What is cucsFabricVnetEpSyncEpGenNumSync?
This is the generation number this vNet endpoint's local configuration has been synced up to, used by UCS Manager to detect whether a peer fabric's copy of this endpoint's config is current or stale. Every time this endpoint's configuration changes, UCS Manager increments a generation counter, and this field tells an admin whether the endpoint being viewed has actually caught up to the latest change or is still running on an older generation - useful when a recent VLAN edit doesn't seem to have taken effect everywhere. If the endpoint's parent VLAN was just bumped to generation 42 but this field still reads 41, that gap means this specific endpoint hasn't finished syncing the latest change yet.
