Description: Cisco UCS fabric:EthVlanPc:transport managed object property
What is cucsFabricEthVlanPcTransport?
This transport-typed field records which underlying network transport — Ethernet, native Fibre Channel, or FCoE — applies to this VLAN-on-port-channel record. Because this VLAN-on-port-channel record models one VLAN as it is provisioned on a specific Ethernet uplink port-channel (a bundle of physical uplink ports trunked together) on the fabric interconnect, the transport value determines which physical port types and cabling are valid for this specific connection, and mismatches here are a common root cause of an uplink that won't come up. For an Ethernet-oriented object like this one the value is typically 'ether', meaning ordinary Ethernet framing rather than encapsulated FC.
