This field records the Ethernet link speed an admin has explicitly configured (as opposed to auto-negotiated) for this VLAN-on-port-channel record. For one VLAN as it is provisioned on a specific Ethernet uplink port-channel (a bundle of physical uplink ports trunked together) on the fabric interconnect, when this is set to anything other than 'auto', the far-end device on this specific link must be forced to the exact same speed or the link will fail to come up or will run in a degraded state. A value of '10gbps' here would mean this link is pinned to 10 Gigabit Ethernet regardless of what the far end might otherwise negotiate to.
