This is the link speed configured for this SPAN destination port. If Fi-A/1/8's configured speed does not match what the capture appliance's NIC expects, the destination link itself may not come up, cutting off the mirrored feed entirely regardless of how healthy the sources are. A value of '1gig' here means the destination port is fixed to 1 Gbps, which needs to match the capture appliance's NIC setting.
