This field (SnmpAdminString) records the name of the previous FSM state that the fabric interconnect's internal endpoint manager, the per-switch process that drives port and port-channel configuration through its state machine was in before its current one. Knowing the prior state on this endpoint manager lets an admin reconstruct the sequence of steps the state machine actually walked through, which matters when a retry loop keeps bouncing between the same two states instead of completing. It might read 'ConfigPort' if that was the stage completed just before the current one began.
