Module: CISCO-UNIFIED-COMPUTING-FABRIC-MIB

OID (symbolic): CISCO-UNIFIED-COMPUTING-FABRIC-MIB::cucsFabricComputePhEpDn

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.9.9.719.1.19.2.1.2

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: CucsManagedObjectDn

Access: read-only

Description: Cisco UCS fabric:ComputePhEp:dn managed object property

What is cucsFabricComputePhEpDn?

This is the object's Dn — the Distinguished Name, a slash-delimited path that pinpoints exactly where the physical endpoint sits in UCS Manager's management information tree. For this blade's physical port into the chassis backplane fabric, the Dn is what a monitoring tool needs to know which physical chassis, slot and port this particular row's other columns (state, peer, serial number, etc.) actually belong to, since the SNMP table index alone is an opaque integer. On this device it might read something like 'sys/chassis-2/blade-4/board/fabric-B/port-1', letting you jump straight from an alert to the exact hardware slot.
