What is cucsFabricComputeMSlotEpServerInstanceId?

This is the numeric server-instance identifier UCS assigns to distinguish this UCS M-Series modular server slot endpoint when a single physical M-Series slot hosts more than one addressable compute instance. Because several M-Series server instances can share one physical slot and its cabling, this ID is what an admin uses to tell service-profile associations and faults for one specific logical server apart from its slot-mates rather than assuming a fault affects the whole bay. A value of 1 identifies the first server instance in a shared M-Series slot; a sibling row with a value of 2 identifies a second, independent server instance in that same physical bay.

Examples

Walk all instances (SNMPv2c):

snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.9.9.719.1.19.131.1.42
snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> CISCO-UNIFIED-COMPUTING-FABRIC-MIB::cucsFabricComputeMSlotEpServerInstanceId

Get a specific instance (index 1):

snmpget -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.9.9.719.1.19.131.1.42.1
snmpget -v2c -c public <target> CISCO-UNIFIED-COMPUTING-FABRIC-MIB::cucsFabricComputeMSlotEpServerInstanceId.1
