Description: Cisco UCS fabric:CartridgeSlotEp:slotAdminState managed object property
What is cucsFabricCartridgeSlotEpSlotAdminState?
This is the administratively configured state — enabled or disabled — UCS has recorded for the slot itself, as represented by this cartridge slot (bay), independent of whether any hardware is currently installed there. An admin who wants to prevent a bay from being auto-discovered or associated even while empty sets this to disabled on the slot, which is different from disabling a cartridge that's already seated — this field governs the bay, not the hardware in it. A value of enabled means the bay accepts and discovers hardware normally; disabled means an admin has deliberately blocked discovery for that specific bay.
