Description: Cisco UCS extvmm:NetworkSetsFsmStage:stageStatus managed object property

What is cucsExtvmmNetworkSetsFsmStageStageStatus?

This attribute reports the pass/fail status of one individual step ('stage') within the FSM that Cisco UCS Manager runs when it synchronizes a VM network set out to the registered VMware vCenter, per the object's extvmm:NetworkSetsFsmStage:stageStatus property definition. Because network-set sync involves multiple ordered stages (e.g. resolving the port-profile client, then pushing VLAN/port-group changes to the DVS), this per-stage status is what lets an admin polling this table pinpoint exactly which step of the vCenter push failed rather than just seeing the overall task fail. For example, a value of 'fail' on this OID while the surrounding stage's order shows it was the DVS port-group-update stage tells you the VLAN change was accepted by UCS Manager but never made it into vCenter, distinguishing that from an earlier connectivity failure to the vCenter provider itself.
