Description: Cisco UCS ether:SwitchIntFIo:ack managed object property

What is cucsEtherSwitchIntFIoAck?

This value records the acknowledgment state of this internal link on the Fabric Interconnect side — whether an administrator (or UCS Manager automatically) has acknowledged this backplane connection as a validated part of the domain. It matters on the same internal chassis backplane link, but the record kept on the Fabric Interconnect (switch) side rather than the IOM/server side because newly discovered or re-cabled chassis connections in UCS often sit unacknowledged until confirmed, and traffic/config changes on an unacknowledged link can be blocked until that happens. An ack value showing this connection as unacknowledged on this link's fabric-interconnect side, right after a chassis reseating, explains why the chassis isn't yet passing traffic even though cabling looks correct.
