Module: CISCO-UNIFIED-COMPUTING-ETHER-MIB
OID (symbolic): CISCO-UNIFIED-COMPUTING-ETHER-MIB::cucsEtherRxStatsSuspect
OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.9.9.719.1.16.9.1.20
Node type: OBJECT-TYPE
Type: TruthValue
Access: read-only
Description: Cisco UCS ether:RxStats:suspect managed object property
What is cucsEtherRxStatsSuspect?
This TruthValue flags whether UCS Manager considers the accompanying receive counters unreliable for this collection interval, for example after a counter rollover, a device reboot, or a gap in polling. It matters on the live receive-side counter set UCS Manager keeps for one Ethernet endpoint (a blade's vNIC adapter port, an I/O Module uplink, or a fabric-interconnect server port) inside a UCS domain because a monitoring tool that graphs raw byte/packet deltas without checking this flag can show a false spike or a false drop right after a counter reset. When suspect is true(1), an admin should discard that single sample rather than alert on it, e.g. a one-time reading of 4,294,967,295 bytes caused by a 32-bit counter wrap rather than real traffic.
