What is cucsEtherLossStatsHistExcessCollisionDelta?

This field records how much the counter for frames that were dropped because they experienced too many collisions (the classic 16-attempt limit) before ever being transmitted successfully changed during the specific collection interval this historical record captured — a frozen snapshot of that one interval's increase, not a live running total. For a network admin, seeing this counter increase on this interface is a reliable indicator of a duplex mismatch or an overloaded half-duplex segment somewhere in the path. For example, 9 frames in the last interval on this specific FCoE path would already be worth a closer look, since this counter should normally sit at or near zero.
