Description: Cisco UCS ether:ErrStats:intMacRxDeltaMax managed object property

What is cucsEtherErrStatsIntMacRxDeltaMax?

This read-only Unsigned64 records the single highest per-interval delta of internal MAC receive errors observed across all collected sampling intervals for this interface's live, currently-active error-statistics record -- the worst burst seen so far. This matters operationally because an average can look fine while a brief severe burst gets hidden in it, so admins check this peak value specifically to catch transient events, since a rising count here implicates the local silicon on this specific adapter or IOM port rather than the cable, which is exactly why UCS breaks this counter out separately from the wire-level ones. A max value that's dramatically higher than the average -- for instance ten times higher -- points to a single sharp event, such as a brief cable disturbance, rather than steady degradation on this link.
