Type: TruthValue

Access: read-only

Description: Cisco UCS equipment:SystemIOController:reInsert managed object property

What is cucsEquipmentSystemIOControllerReInsert?

This read-only TruthValue flags whether a logical 're-insertion' has been triggered for this IO controller, effectively telling UCS Manager to treat the module as if it had just been physically reseated in the chassis so its discovery process restarts from scratch. Admins rely on this instead of a real, disruptive physical pull-and-reseat when an IOM's software state gets stuck but the hardware itself is fine. Setting this true on a chassis with two redundant IOMs lets an engineer force one to redo discovery without touching cabling or risking a full chassis outage.
