Description: Cisco UCS equipment:SwitchIOCard:discovery managed object property

What is cucsEquipmentSwitchIOCardDiscovery?

This enumerated value ("discovery") reports the discovery-process status of this IOM as UCS Manager brings it under management, using the CucsEquipmentDiscoveryState type. When a chassis is freshly connected, an admin watches this field cycle through discovery states to confirm the IOM, and by extension the whole chassis and its blades, is being recognized correctly rather than stuck or failing discovery. A value of "complete" means the IOM finished discovery successfully; "in-progress" or "failed" would flag that the admin needs to check chassis cabling or licensing before blades in that chassis become manageable.
