Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: SnmpAdminString

Access: read-only

Description: Cisco UCS equipment:StorageSasExpanderDef:intId managed object property

What is cucsEquipmentStorageSasExpanderDefIntId?

This read-only string carries the internal identifier ("intId") that Cisco UCS Manager's equipment catalog assigns to a particular SAS-expander hardware definition, the catalog record listing which SAS expander chip/board variants can appear on the SAS backplane of a UCS storage-capable or storage server node (e.g. C240 M-series or S3260). Because a single UCS domain's catalog can carry definitions for many different SAS expander revisions used across different chassis and server models, this internal ID is what UCS Manager uses to cross-reference one specific expander definition row rather than relying on the more changeable display name. For example, the value might be a short internal code like "25" identifying the definition row for a 6-Gbps SAS-2 expander used on an S3260 storage node's disk backplane.
