Description: Cisco UCS equipment:SlotArray:policyLevel managed object property
What is cucsEquipmentSlotArrayPolicyLevel?
This reports the depth in UCS Manager's org-hierarchy tree at which the policy settings for this slot-array layout descriptor were actually resolved. Because this object describes how a group of physical slots (drive bays or PCIe slots) on a server or chassis are physically arranged, so UCS Manager's GUI can draw an accurate panel diagram and address the slots correctly, a policyLevel of 0 means the effective settings came straight from the root organization, while a higher number means a sub-organization further down the tree overrode them for this specific instance. In practice this reads 0 for the vast majority of UCS domains, and only climbs to 1 or 2 once an admin has built a multi-tenant org structure and pushed a more specific policy onto a child org.
