This reports a numeric offset applied when translating this array's own internal slot numbering into the underlying device layer's real slot numbers. It exists for chassis models where the slot-array grid used purely for GUI layout does not start at the same number the device layer beneath it uses to address the physical drive, so UCS Manager needs this correction to talk to the right drive. An offset of 1 would mean slot index 0 in this array's own grid actually maps to device slot 1 underneath -- a common off-by-one style correction.
