Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: INTEGER

Access: read-only

Description: Cisco UCS equipment:SiocTempStatsHist:midTempAvg managed object property

What is cucsEquipmentSiocTempStatsHistMidTempAvg?

This INTEGER is the average temperature, in degrees Celsius, that the mid-module sensor recorded over the statistics-collection interval represented by this archived sample. Because the mid-zone sensor is often the first to show a gradual thermal drift caused by dust buildup inside the module, sometimes days before the front or rear zones move at all, an admin diagnosing a SIOC cooling problem checks this specific zone rather than relying only on the SIOC's single roll-up thermal status flag. An average holding near 44 across the interval is normal for this zone; a rising average even while individual max readings stay in range would flag a slow thermal drift worth watching.
