OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.9.9.719.1.15.198.1.6

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: INTEGER

Access: read-only

Description: Cisco UCS equipment:SiocTempStatsHist:cmcTempMax managed object property

What is cucsEquipmentSiocTempStatsHistCmcTempMax?

This INTEGER is the highest temperature, in degrees Celsius, that the Chassis Management Controller (CMC) sensor recorded during the statistics-collection interval represented by this archived sample. Because the CMC chip's own firmware can throttle or reset itself if it overheats, which would take chassis management connectivity down even while the SIOC's actual data path keeps running fine, an admin diagnosing a SIOC cooling problem checks this specific zone rather than relying only on the SIOC's single roll-up thermal status flag. If the interval's max reads 78 while the current instantaneous reading has settled back near 42, that tells an admin the module hit a brief thermal spike that has since subsided rather than one still ongoing.
