Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: INTEGER

Access: read-only

Description: Cisco UCS equipment:SiocTempStats:frontTempAvg managed object property

What is cucsEquipmentSiocTempStatsFrontTempAvg?

This INTEGER is the average temperature, in degrees Celsius, that the front-of-module intake sensor recorded over the statistics-collection interval. Because a rising front-zone reading with a normal rear-zone reading usually means intake airflow is obstructed, for example by dust or a nearby blocked bay, rather than a fan failure, an admin diagnosing a SIOC cooling problem checks this specific zone rather than relying only on the SIOC's single roll-up thermal status flag. An average holding near 35 across the interval is normal for this zone; a rising average even while individual max readings stay in range would flag a slow thermal drift worth watching.
