OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.9.9.719.1.15.197.1.4

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: INTEGER

Access: read-only

Description: Cisco UCS equipment:SiocTempStats:cmcTemp managed object property

What is cucsEquipmentSiocTempStatsCmcTemp?

This INTEGER is the current temperature, in degrees Celsius, measured by the Chassis Management Controller (CMC) sensor on this Shared I/O Module. Because the CMC chip's own firmware can throttle or reset itself if it overheats, which would take chassis management connectivity down even while the SIOC's actual data path keeps running fine, an admin diagnosing a SIOC cooling problem checks this specific zone rather than relying only on the SIOC's single roll-up thermal status flag. A reading of 42 degrees C is unremarkable for this zone, while a climb to 78 would be worth investigating even if the module's overall thermal status still reports ok.
