Module: CISCO-UNIFIED-COMPUTING-EQUIPMENT-MIB
OID (symbolic): CISCO-UNIFIED-COMPUTING-EQUIPMENT-MIB::cucsEquipmentServiceDefPolicyOwner
OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.9.9.719.1.15.65.1.11
Node type: OBJECT-TYPE
Type: CucsPolicyPolicyOwner
Access: read-only
Description: Cisco UCS equipment:ServiceDef:policyOwner managed object property
What is cucsEquipmentServiceDefPolicyOwner?
This indicates who owns the policy settings resolved for this equipment service-policy definition -- whether they were defined locally in this UCS domain or pushed down from a central management point. Since this object defines how and when a piece of equipment (a blade, PSU, fan module, IO module, etc.) may be serviced or physically removed, knowing the owner tells an admin whether they can safely edit related settings here in UCS Manager or must instead change them upstream, avoiding an edit that would just be overwritten on the next sync. A value of 'local' means this UCS domain manages the setting itself; 'policy' (owned by UCS Central / a policy manager) means a local change attempt would be rejected or reverted on the next sync.
